Pet care experience
I have been around dogs most of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am the proud mom of 2 sweet canines who I adore. I have been a volunteer at Foothill Animal Shelter since they opened and have done everything from walking them, taking care of foster dogs, taking them to appointments. I currently do post-operative care of animals after their spay or neuter. I am very comfortable removing thorns, bandaging, giving medications etc. I work part time as a nurse practitioner and live with my husband who works at home. One of us is usually around so your buddy will never be alone for extended periods of time. One of our favorite things is going on walks with our dogs. We have a bunch of different places we go or we sometimes just go around the block in our neighborhood. My house is spacious, on a quiet street on Green Mountain. There is a fenced in yard and lots of dog beds but they are welcome to jump on my bed if they don't mind sharing.

Shreela did such a good job with Salmon! Salmon is usually shy around new people and dogs but warmed up right away visiting them. Had lots of fun playing with Shreela's dogs and enjoying their yard. Shreela was super quick to respond and really flexible with coordinating drop off and pick up. Will book with her again!
They were easy to work with and Duke seemed to have a good experience.

How they are when encountering other dogs on walks, any fears. Where they like to sleep. Also, We like to know if it ok to take them to off-leash dog parks.
A typical day
There are a bunch of parks nearby where we take out dogs out, including Solterra, an off leash park where they can socialize. Of course we often go around our neighborhood which is away from busy streets. Green Mountain park is a short walk and we often go there. My younger guy Nash loves to play ball so that is always going on. We have assorted toys including elk horns, kongs for your dogs enjoyment and of course a big box of treats from Costco!!
