Hi my name is Shreeda! I am a student and a major kitty + doggy lover. Animals are my passion and I have a lot of experience caring for them. I even hope to become a veterinarian one day! I find a lot of meaning by forming connections with animals and helping enrich their lives. One of my favorite parts about pet sitting is being able to interact with many different animals and build lasting friendships with them. I have extensive experience caring for animals. I have pet sat for friends and family throughout my life, and have volunteered and worked for several animal shelters. I am trained in walking a dog, harnessing a dog, and reading signs of fear and aggression. I also have experience caring for various sizes and breeds. I have no problem trimming their nails, and giving them baths, so let me know if you think your pup needs a bath while you’re away. I also have experience caring for cats so if you have a feline friend that needs care too, that’s no problem! You will love me as a sitter because I am a reliable person and I strive to make people’s lives easier. It’s important to me that you feel connected to your dog or cat while they’re in my care, so I am happy to send you Rover Cards throughout the stay. Rover Cards include updates informing you of food and potty activities, as well as any other cute or important details. My favorite part about Rover Cards is that they include pictures! Expect to receive many photo updates of your dogs (or cats) during a stay! When I’m not petsitting, I love to try new food, read, and listen to music. Looking forward to meeting you! ** A note on Rates ** Dog and house sitting, in my experience, is a lot more than just spending time and playing with dogs all day. It often involves overnight stay (which is a demand on my time), multiple travel costs to and from your house, feeding, walking your pets, administrating medication, cleaning up accidents and often times checking the mail, watering plants, taking out garbage, etc. I also make a trip to your house, for free, for the meet and greet. While living in your home, I will have to eat, too. And often, while not taking care of your pets, I am making myself available to you through phone, text, and social media, ready to answer your calls and assure you that your needs are taken care of. Many of the rates presented on Rover for overnight care are, in my opinion, simply too low. Please note that through the RoverGO program, I only take 75% of my earnings home. The rest is paid to Rover to help maintain my business. My rates reflect these needs. Working through Rover, my rates are non-negotiable. Please know that you will receive a high quality care experience. I have worked with senior and special needs pets, as well as with homes with multiple pets. My rates start at $100 for overnight care, with $15 for each additional pet. My rates for sitting for cats is cheaper.
