I have been taking care of animals personally and professionally since the 1970s. Im a former Assistant Director of the San Francisco SPCA, worked as a vet care person in clinics and shelters on the East and West coast. And of course, adopted and fostered many critters, and successfully only adopted a few dozen over the years that way! In my home, my 15 yr. old son has cared for our pets and volunteered at Berkeley Humane, it's just what we do. Our household includes multiple cats and a service dog. At this time I'm taking mostly out calls but will consider boarding pets recovering from injuries, surgeries and needing confinement with (or without) breaks to get outside for monitored or supported time and chance to get outside a bit.
