I’ve taken care of small-medium dogs for friends and neighbors since I was an adult and I love bringing them out for walks and runs at local parks. I’ve also taken care of dogs in their owners home while they’ve been gone. I never grew up with pets of my own, but have always envied friends with pets so I frequented their houses to play with their dogs and cats and walk them! I am a working adult but my schedule is pretty flexible with occasional mornings and afternoons off so I’d be able to take dogs out then. I typically do not care for pets in my home as I have a roommate. But, in my client’s home, I typically feed and walk them twice to three times a day, and one more time before I go to bed in case they need to go to the bathroom. I’ll play with them during the day unless I go out to work, during which depending on how you care for your pet, either roaming around the home or in a crate. That will depend on the pet.
