Pet care experience
I love all animals and have always had a special love for dogs. My Family had a labrador named Caesar for 16 years, I also had a pet Turtle and an aquarium while I was growing up. I love taking care of pets. I rescued my Spotty Spot from a shelter 2 years ago. I love going on hikes and runs with him. We often go to dog parks as he loves to play "catch me" with other doggos. He is like my baby and I love him more than anything in the world, probably why he think he is human and owns everything in the house, also the car. I love Spending time surrounded by dogs and have experience walking multiple dogs. I also have experience interacting with rescued dogs who need special attention, I am very gentle and patient with them. I love dogs and will genuinely take care of them as much as you do. I am currently pursuing my PhD at Auburn University. Most of my current graduate school life involves research work, and I usually perform most of it from home. I live very close to campus so I come home frequently and fairly quickly for Spot. I typically go to school only 3 days a week and usually not for long hours, I have a flexible schedule. I live in an apartment but there is a fenced yard here. I take spot for long walks or runs (if the weather is good) everyday and we play in the fenced yard. We also go to the dog parks every week. I live close to campus so we also spend time on the campus lawns.

Shiva and his wife Ash are such amazing people and I am so grateful to have found them here. My dogs took to them immediately which honestly says a lot. My big boy has a very discerning nature as a protection dog and he basically decided Shiva was his person before Shiva could sit down. I felt completely comfortable leaving them with my babies and had no concerns at all. They sent photos and a video as well as little notes throughout the afternoon. It's great to have found people you can trust and rely on in the community who will treat your pets like their own. I appreciate them so much and will only use them in the future. Shiva did an absolutley stellar job watching after Reba for the 3day weekend. I've been using rover for awhile now and have never had a sitter that showed so much care for my pup. I received upwards of 10+ wonderful pictures every walk and got the sense that Reba was a little disappointed when I got back that Shiva wasn't stopping by one last time. Thank you again!
Shiva is great. Highly recommended. We needed help getting Hank some exercise and a potty break during an unusually busy period. They always seemed to have a nice play time together. It was clear that Shiva quickly came to care about Hank and wasn’t just trying to make a quick buck. Hank was fond of him, too. Had to spring a last minute time change on him one day and he accommodated us without hesitation. Genuine dog lover who is responsible and reliable. Use him.
I am so thankful for Shiva! My dogs are both rescues and can be quirky and difficult to deal with sometimes. But Shiva has the experience and capabilities necessary to handle that kind of situation. He took the time to do things at the pace of my dogs and took great care of them during the drop-in visit. I highly recommend the friendly and capable Shiva!
