This was our first time having our dog do a Rover stay or boarding for anything more than an overnight; this trip both of us were traveling out of the country and would be gone for 10 days. Needless to say, we were extremely nervous about leaving him and being unavailable for such a long period of time. Shirley was quick to respond and put our fears at ease. She set up a Facetime meeting initially with us just to chat about our dog and what our expectations were. A couple weeks later we went to her apartment and did a meet and greet. We again were able to talk about our dog's schedule, quirks, etc; we felt much better about leaving him after meeting Shirley, as opposed to just dropping him off with a complete stranger. From what I can tell, our dog had a good time. Since Shirley works from home, he had someone around the entire time. She does not have any kids or other animals around (an essential thing for our dog, and what makes finding boarding tough for us). He came back healthy and happy. My only very minor complaint would be better proactive communication. Shirley was very good about answering our texts/messages, but we did have to keep asking for updates about how he was doing. I would absolutely trust Shirley to watch our dog again in the future.

Shirley is so sweet and treated my dog like her own. I felt completely at ease leaving my fur baby with her and would use her again in the future.
