Pet care experience

✨Primary pet sitter is Shirley✨ Hey there! We always like to schedule a meet and greet and can accommodate virtual meet and greets if needed. ***Please note we are COVID-conscious and will always show up to meet and greets with masks on to ensure our safety as well as yours.*** We’ve been pet-sitting for 10+ years and have built awesome relationships with our clients and their pets. Cats, dogs, and even chickens feel incredibly comfortable with us. It's very rewarding to know the joy and sense of safety I’ve provided to these furry family members and that their owners feel at ease when taking care of them. We always send photo updates of their pets to let them know everything is okay and also create that connection between them even while they're away. We also have two pets of our own, one cat (Maine Coone) and a rescue dog (Dutch Shepherd). Our pup lost a few toes in an accident before we adopted her so we take extra care of her paws and we’ve loved helping her get the most out of life. Hope to hear from you soon!

Our criteria for a good Rover sitter is experienced, good judgment, and cares enough to do the right thing. To say Shirley and Emily exceeded our expectations would be a major understatement. They were professional, communicative, and courteous. You can tell they care deeply for the animals they watch and take the time to get to know them. Shirley did great managing their specific exercise and dietary needs and even helped us troubleshoot a stubborn rash for one of our pups.

Shirley was awesome with our pups! This was our first time using a house sitter since we didn't want to board our dogs with the current illness going around, and she was very understanding of that and helped put our mind at ease about the precautions she would be taking to keep our dogs safe. She consistently shared updates and photos and was very responsive throughout the entire process. We will definitely book with her again!

Where do we even begin? Shirley has been the best, most trustworthy dog sitter for us during this past year. Bailey being my first dog, I was nervous about giving a stranger access to our home, but she has been very respectful, communicative, flexible, and open with us. My husband and I both work full time and wanted to make sure our puppy was checked-in on during the day. During these past few months, Shirley has consistently checked in on our Bailey girl and has gone above and beyond… MULTIPLE times! Just to name a few… cleaning up some messy potty accidents and proceeding to take out our trash without being asked to so it wouldn’t stink up the house, bringing in packages that get delivered to prevent package thieves from striking, and giving us the best daily visit reports with artsy pictures of our pup. We would highly recommend Shirley and entrust your furry friend into her care. I also appreciate that she tries her best to incorporate new commands or things we’ve been working on with our puppy so that there is good carry-over and consistency. I honestly don’t know how we would have managed to do a good job raising our dog without Shirley’s help, especially in this crucial time in our pup’s life where foundational principals are being instilled. If you’re in need of a dog sitter or visits, RUN! Don’t walk. Shirley is your girl. Thank you for all you do for miss Bails!

We love to keep our pets active through physical play time like walks, safe play and do enrichment activities such as training, "find it" for treats, and puzzles. A 30-minute walk is average and they will explore areas around their neighborhood. If a longer walk is requested that can absolutely be accommodated.
