Pet care experience
My son and I have an older Lab-setter mix. She is a rescue dog. We dog sit for two of our friends. We have a large yard and a pet friendly home. We would walk the dog on a leash because the yard is not fenced in on all sides. If your dog sleeps on his own bed or on my bed it is fine with us. We are used to giving dogs pills as directed by his vet. We live at apartment. We love watching your dog. We hope you want us to take care of your furry friend at any time. We will be great sitters while you are away for a good while and they will be safe with us. Thanks, Shirley Ellison

Shirley was fabulous! She was so sweet and so good with Ginny. She even went out and bought her more treats when Ginny ran out! You could tell her son is also an animal lover. I felt very comfortable leaving my baby with her, and would definitely do so again! She also sent pictures, which of course I loved. It was great knowing that Ginny was the only dog there and would get all the attention. Definitely recommend Shirley!
This was my first experience leaving Skyler with someone unfamiliar to him. He (and I) have separation anxiety. Our meet and greet went well. I found Shirley to be a very gentle and sincere person with a natural caregiver spirit. When I took Skyler for his stay I had him in my arms. Shirley reached out and took him in her arms. Skyler remained calm. When he is unsure of a situation Skyler becomes nervous but not with Shirley. He remained completely relaxed. I was sure I'd made the right choice. While away, she sent me pictures of him relaxing. Upon my return to pick Skyler up, he was in no hurry to leave, letting my know he felt safe and protected in her care. I highly recommend Shirley and will use her again!
Shirley was an excellent dog sitter. I will definitely use her again.
