Pet care experience
I absolutely adore dogs! (Which is strange to think about considering I grew up owning 2 cats). I have experience volunteering at a Doggy Day Care in Brooklyn for 2 years as well as volunteering through the ASPCA. I led a group of volunteers there twice a week in that time. Volunteering there meant caring for and looking after anywhere from 5 to 15 dogs of varying sizes at a time. I have several years of pet-sitting experience for several families through here and have thoroughly enjoyed it! I have a pretty open availability. I have a hybrid/flexible work schedule so my availability is pretty open. This means more love and attention for your fur babies! I have access to a car and an Orca pass so traveling around the city isn't a problem. Also, if you have cats, don't worry! I adore them as well <3 and definitely miss mine back home. I am flexible with my at-home stay rate so please feel free to message me :) Fully vaccinated and will sanitize before entering your home, wear a mask, take off shoes, etc depending on what will make you most comfortable.

Shikha cared for my dog, Charlie, while I was away on a long business trip. I've never had someone in my home caring for Charlie for that long of a time. Shikha took EXCELLENT care of Charlie, and I didn't worry at all while I was away. She sent me updates and videos, and had him on a routine for walks, etc. Charlie seemed very happy being around Shikha! I would 100% trust Shikha to care for Charlie again. I plan to rebook her for another upcoming trip soon! Thank you!!
