I am an animal lover!

Pet care experience

I worked in the Veterinary field for 8 years and have always had a love for all animals. I graduated from Eastern Washington University and work at an Urgent Care. I am very flexible and would love to make some extra money and get back to enjoying other people's pets! I myself, only have 2 cats at the moment. I have experience in training also and am always willing to share advice if needed and can be trusted with the health and safety of your pet considering my previous experience. I am able to accommodate with any special needs pets including administering medications or extra monitoring. Thank you for your consideration and I hope I can be of good service to you and your babies!

Sherry was awesome. I loved that she had veterinary experience and was able to give my cat her meds without hesitation. I got several pics a day and updates. She is sweet, easy to work with and Andy loved her!!

Sherry again took great care of our two dogs while we were away. They absolutely love being in her care. Sherry is on time, dependable and has a true gift when it comes to interacting with our dogs.

Sherry exceeded our expectations! Being new to Rover, we were very nervous about leaving our furry kids in the care of someone else while we were away for the day. Sherry communicated with us regularly with each visit. Her calm personality and obvious love of dogs was evident. Both of our dogs really like being with her. Sherry made our Rover experience very positive.

I can't say enough good things about Sherry! We worked together for several years at one of the local veterinary clinics, and her compassion and care for dogs & cats (plus the occasional ferret or hamster) put the client immediately at ease. Sherry knew exactly what the pet needed when they stayed at the clinic for surgical or diagnostic procedures...and, she was with me when I had to euthanize one of my own beloved pets. I will never forget her kindness and empathy. We have continued our friendship since we've both left the clinic, and I can tell you this...I wouldn't hesitate for a minute having Sherry sit for my dog because I know she would give her the best of care...including the best walkies ever! She will be an amazing asset to Rover.com!!

Safety, trust & environment

I have had multiple pets in my own home that require medication. I have dealt with my own diabetic cat and my dog had cancer and was on multiple medications. I can be trusted to give medications and care needed.

Information Sherry N. would like to know about your pet

I enjoy all breeds, dogs, cats and more! At the vet clinic I helped with horses, pigs, birds, etc. If you can explain what you want me to do, I'll get it done. If your pet needs certain medications or has allergies just let me know!

A typical day

I enjoy going for long walks each day. That's something I miss about owning a dog. I'd love to have a client that needs their dog walked. Otherwise if it's just a sit and cuddle pet I'm fine with that also.
