A little about me. I was raised on a farm, and have taken care of animals all my life. I have had several pets, from horses, dogs, pigs, rabbits, cows, turkeys and chickens. My Dad hated it, because once they are pets, you can't eat them. I am now a vegetarian lol. I can't remember a time I haven't had dogs. Sometimes up to 7 at time. I have for years fur kid sat for friends and the last 3 years I started watching for others. Which brought me to trying out Rover. I have two beautiful fur kids, Junuh and Sky. They are both Keeshond. Junuh I have had since 9 weeks. I trained him in obedience, tricks and rally. At 7 months old he received his Canine Good Citizenship. Sky is a little rescue, very shy but coming along great. She too is well mannered and knows some basic commands now. I have fostered and fospiced, which is taking in foster dogs that need hospice care. I have experience in training horses as well as dogs. I am a spoiler, they all have run of the house and furniture. Unless you let me know they aren't allowed. I give yummy grain free treats, and bites of cheese. Again, unless you ask me not to. I do work part time, but when I am gone, my husband is there. So they are loved and taken care of all day and night. I have a fenced yard for potting, and I give daily walks/hikes to the river. My days off, I'll take them hiking in the Wildwood Recreation, where there is 750 acres of exploring, and along the Salmon River trails. If you bring a toothbrush and paste, I will brush their teeth once a day. If their brush is included, I will brush their fur too.
