I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s of Science in zoology. I have been a rover sitter for just over 4 years now. I am also a zookeeper of 5 years , which means lots of positive reinforcement and husbandry experience. It is my job professionally to be incredibly observant which means I take that home with me. I’ve cared for cats that need medications. I have experience medicating with syringes as well. A cat in particular I’ve cared for is special needs, needing a specific diet and dependent on every dose of medication. I am diligent about meds/walks/cuddles. I think it’s important to be involved with the animal as well as loving. I enjoy all living creatures and the bond humans can share with them! 💕 They come first! I get up early before work and care for them Immediately after work as well. My schedule is oriented around the animals. Adjust to each pets needs and make accommodations. If the dog is anxious or scared I’ll spend the first few hours on the floor with the dog and what not to slowly introduce myself.
