We have a house on a large property at the base of Mt Woodson, right near the border of Poway and Ramona just south of the Fire Station and the Mt. Woodson hiking trail. If you live in Ramona it is easy access on the way down the hill, and it is only a few minutes outside of Poway. I have a big yard and lots of Oak trees. Your pet can stay indoors if they like, or join my dogs outside. I don't have a kennel so dogs must be socialized and well behaved. I have green grass in the front yard, and misters are on when the weather gets hot. I have an automatic watering bucket that delivers fresh well water all the time. About this sitter: Don't stress! And don't stress your pet. Bring them to my home and they will get attention and security that dogs need. My friendly dog will welcome her doggy visitors. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved animals, ever since I can remember. We were not allowed to have pets until we were old enough to take care of them. My first pets were chickens. I caught some feral chicken on a horse ranch, and watched a mamma hen hatch a batch of chicks. We moved into a house and the previous tenant had left a cat, and she had feral kittens. We had 17 cats before we could round them all up, which we finally did. There was a goat that I babysat for a year while her owners located a new home. I also had two ducks. A pet rat, some parakeets, and my sister had a rabbit named Prudence. A basset hound named Martha lived with us for a while, and several mixed breed dogs, a lab mix, some kind of terrier, and even a blind dog. She was amazing. I feel a close bond with animals, and I feel they communicate to me. My goal is to build and agility course in the field in front of my house. I will post photos when it is completed. About my yard I have chain link fence all the way around my yard, about 50 feet out from the house. It is grassy in the front, with lots of shade. When it is hot I usually have a sprinkler or mister going. I also have a large brick patio with cool bricks in the shade, the dogs love laying on the cool bricks. My experience administering medication Yes, I have administered medication many times over the years. It helps to mix it with something yummy! I have also given shots.

Lusa had a perfect stay with Sheri and John. The huge fenced in yard and all the other dogs made it like a playground for her to explore and play with all throughout her stay. This was the first time she was away from family for such a long time. Sheri had made her feel at home. We will definitely have Lusa stay here whenever we need a place for her again
Sheri isn’t just great with dogs, she is a wonderful person as well. She made my dogs a part of her family and she has a huge yard which made my dogs feel like they were at a dog park 24/7. She has a fence surrounding the whole property, so the dogs could come and go from inside the house to outside as they pleased. I’m very satisfied with the care she gave my furry babies, and I will definitely be using her services again.
Sheri was amazing!!!! Buddy loved staying with her and her dogs. She sent many pics over the holidays. I'll definitely use her again.
Sheri was a great host to our Lola. She sent is pictures during her stay and kept us up to date. Lola was very happy when we returned. She played fetch and made new friends. Love the big open space for the dogs to run about. Sheri was cery friendly and helpful. Thanks!!!

It is a big yard, and in the evening, my dogs like to chase each other around the yard. I throw the ball, but my dogs don't like to fetch much. If your dog does, I will throw toys for him. I have some tennis balls in the yard for active dogs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement The dogs will sleep in the house, in their crate if you like, or on their bed if you bring it. Otherwise I will put a blanket on the floor. Time I'll spend with your dog I plan to spend several hours a day playing. I spend one hour in the morning with my pets, and more time in the afternoon. I find they are pretty lethargic around mid-day, and perk up in the afternoon.
