Growing up, Sherhys has had various relationships with dogs for as long as she can remember, this includes her own dog, Missy, which she identifies as her best friend and family. From a very young age, she has taken full responsibility for feeding, walking and taking care of Missy which has equipped her with the tools needed to care for other dogs which are shown through her vigilance to a high standard of care. She has also had experience dog sitting previously where she performed above and beyond as she had not simply cared for the dog for two weeks but groomed and protected it in an incident with other dogs while on a walk putting herself at risk showing her honest love and care.
