Safety is #1 in our home when it comes to our guests. Meets & Greets are required to make sure we are a match to your pet. Please fill out your pet’s profile completely so I can get to know your pet well before we meet. A bit about me: I was born to a home filled with pets and animals. We had a dog in our home from the day I was born, her name was Missy and she was a German Shepherd. I have been in the 4-H and FFA showing sheep, beef, dairy, pigs, and even rabbits. With this background of so many species of animals and working/training as well as fitting/grooming so many it helped to encourage my past job as a dog bather and finally to a certified dog and cat groomer with a major pet company many years ago. Our family has had as big as Great Pyrenees to as small as Chihuahuas throughout the many years as pet owners. I have personally trained two of our eight Great Pyrenees (the others were strictly working dogs) as well as six of our six Schipperkes over the years. I am not concerned about size for I have worked with many different sizes throughout the years, nor am I concerned about working with animals who have needs (all dogs have a different level of needs when it comes to attention as well as care for them). I understand the need to keep to training standards, which is important to continue even during time away from you, constant repetition and praise is important to well trained pets. Finally, love is the best thing for any animal, I have spent years caring for and loving all the animals that have crossed my path throughout the years, from strays cats and dogs to rejected lambs, I have always been there to love them and let them know they are not alone or unloved in this world. I’m excited about working with you and your family pet. We are limiting our number of boarding pets to only 2 at this time so we may make sure that they not only get individual attention and care they deserve but so we can know our own capabilities as a household, we do not want to overestimate ourselves. We want to have the opportunity to love each and every pet as our own and the individual attention each of them deserve. We have a large enough backyard for playing and running around while staying safe in a fenced in area. Please read carefully: -Meet and Greets are required (I want your pet to be happy and comfortable with us before they are left in my care. -Earliest Drop Off is 6am, Please. -Latest Pick Up is 8pm (Out of respect for my family and neighbors this will be a strict policy) -Please have your pet bathed prior to their stay as they are staying in my family’s home. Flee and tick medication is recommended.
