Pet care experience
Hi I’m Sher- a pet portrait artist, dog sitter & animal lover. I have a 3 year old husky/bull terrier named Rosie who is my whole world. She absolutely loves other dogs & making new friends. Me & my partner live is a secluded house in Sudden Valley with a half acre fenced yard for the pups to play in. We are a 5 min drive from an off-leash dog park on Lake Whatcom and by several hiking trails. I love taking dogs to parks, on hikes & out for treats. I also have a small business called Paw Prints by Sher where I make custom pet portraits & offer discounts to the pups that I watch! I do request that your dog gets along with other dogs because I have a dog of my own & watch a few dogs weekly & need to make sure they all get along to have the best experience possible.

Sher and her boyfriend were so great with my doggo!! I was grateful to have them watch my baby while I was at work. Their dog, Daisy got along very well with my dog, which I’m always happy to hear.
Sher watched our cat and dog for a week while we were out of town. We got lots of pictures that looked like our pup was having a great time. Sher was great communicating with us and we ended up with some of her amazing artwork as well.

I live in a house with a fully fenced half acre yard! I also have a very high energy & high maintenance pup of my own so I know what it’s like to care for a dog that needs constant attention and I always have an eye on the dogs even when I’m doing something. My pup is super playful and loves when friends come over to spend time with her! I take them out frequently for potty breaks and exercise!

Because I have 2 pups I need to watch pups that get along with multiple dogs. Also let me know if you pup is okay to be walked off leash on a trail! Also any food allergies or special requirements would be much appreciated to know. I also charge a $30 cleaning fee for damages that are out of my control such as vomiting or going potty on carpet despite me taking them out.
A typical day
A typical day includes a trip to the beach, a hike on a trail, a run around the yard & then lots of snuggles & homemade dog treats at night!

Availability
Me and my partner have opposite work schedules so one of us is almost always home with the pups. I also work from home as a small business owner and artist so I can work from home while spending time with them.
