Excellent!! I would most definitely recommend Shelly for dog sitting! We had a wonderful experience. Shelly and her husband were patient with my GSD as he acclimated to their home and 2 dogs. After a couple days, Jagger was feeling at home with them. He took a special liking to her husband, and would eagerly wait for his return from work, etc. Shelly sent me many pics throughout the week and let me know how ...

Shelly was able to take my pup at short notice and she was great. Frannie had a wonderful stay and was treated like a little princess. She even got to sleep in bed! Hope to use Shelly again for sure!

Shelly has taken good care of our dog twice and all has been good. Both times our dog was excited to see her dogs and can tell that they got along well during the weekend. Shelly was good at trying to match our home habits (sleep in kennel or on sofa, crate when gone vs leave out, etc).

Large Fenced in Yard to Play/Run

Hello dog lovers! I have both small and large dog experience. In previous years, I fostered dogs for a rescue so I have training in behavioral cues and have also trained many dogs from basic commands to exhaustive tricks. What Shelly would like to know about your dog

I would like to know if the dog is a "runner" when the door opens. I would like to know how they signal to you to go outside. If there is any bone/food resource guarding in their history. I'd like to know if the dog has any anxieties or fears (storms, strangers, etc.) If you allow them on the couch and/or bed (I won't let them on if you don't at your house!)
I don't have breed preferences, I like all non-aggressive dogs.

When Shelly watches your pet

We will walk the Rice Creek trail that I live near. We will play fetch with the Frisbee, or the chuck-it balls, or tennis balls in the yard. I have numerous "mind tease" games for dogs to play (move the chess piece to find the treat, etc.)
