Hello Shelly is pleased to meet you! Our family loves dogs and since our precious Ashley passed away, we've decided to share our love with your dog. Relax and enjoy your time away as your pup enjoys vacation with us in a safe, stress free, family environment. I care for dogs 2 years and older and up to 60 lbs. The rate is for 24 hours of care. For example, if you drop off at noon, pick up is also noon. After 24 hours, an additional day rate applies. We have a nice family home environment, large backyard, and deck. Great for playtime outside. The neighborhood has many great walking areas. Why I love dog sitting? I've been a dog owner my entire life and we enjoy our time with your dog. We enjoy many different breeds. Dog love is the best. About my yard: We have a large backyard for playtime. I work from home so your dog has the option to lounge on the deck in the fresh air, and hang out in the house with me. We are completely fenced in with high hedges for privacy. My experience administering medication: I'm comfortable administering medications, and injections with detail instructions from the owner. I care for elderly, blind, or deaf dogs too.

Our dog is a little over a year old, and had never boarded with anyone. We did a trial night with Shelly to see how she would do before we go out of town. Shelly was very communicative, and spent lots of time with us at our meet and greet to get to know our dog. She had her husband come out to meet her too, since I told her our dog is extra nervous around men. He had a very pleasant and easy going demeanor. I liked both Shelly and her husband right away. During our dogs stay, Shelly kept me posted with pictures every couple hours. Thank you for being our guinea pig, Shelly. I hope the tip I left you can go toward a bottle of wine or whatever to make up for the pee pee incident. In the end, I think our dog will do better at our house with a dog-sitter, as she is too nervous to be in a different house, but this has no bearing on Shelly or the care she provided to our dog. I felt she was in the best hands possible.

What is your dogs personality? How are they on their walk? Are they OK in car rides? Have they ever bitten another dog or person? What special needs might they have? What is their usual diet and allowable treats? Is there any food or toy aggression? Fears and/or causes of anxiety? You dog must get along with other dogs. I care for up to 3 dogs at a time. Dogs must be 100% potty trained to go outside. We are outside frequently all day. Accidents inside the house must not be an issue. And no indoor marking tendencies.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: A park is four blocks away and our neighborhood is a lovely area for extended walks too. We enjoy hikes in the trees at Pulgus Open Reserve on the weekends. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: That depends on the dog. Bring their bed, crate and they sleep where they are most comfortable. Time I'll spend with your dog: I work from home, so I'm around a lot. Your dog will enjoy their vacation at our home while you are away.
