Pet care experience
I've been a pet owner for 31 years. I've loved and lost and know the relationship people have with their pets and how important that is. I've traveled the country with my boxer/pitt mix Baxter Blue and met all sorts of folks and their "fur-babies." Unfortunately, I lost my best friend and companion of 11 years, Baxter, in February of this year to cancer. I'm available from morning to night so if your dog needs a visit, a walk, or to be fed, I'm happy to be there, including the dirty work of scooping poop if needed. I am also available to capture memories of you and your pet through my other passion, photography. I am available to pet sit in your home as well for a short 1 night stay, 1 week, or longer if needed.

Shelly was a true life saver!! We had hired a friends adult daughter to house/dog sit and that went extremely bad and were out of the country. Shelly’s reviews seemed too good to be real but after video chatting with her it was soon evident that she was every bit someone we could not only care well for our dogs but someone we could trust in our home. It is not like me to allow a stranger to stay in my home without ever meeting them. But I can assure you that Shelly is all her reviews say and more. Your pups will be well cared for with her as well as your home. She also was very good about keeping in touch daily and sent plenty of pictures and videos. She was truly a blessing we found her. We will definitely use her again soon.

Shelly took wonderful care of our two dogs and left our home clean and orderly. After having a bad experience in the past with a different sitter I was nervous to leave my dogs alone and it had been three years since my last vacation. Shelly made me feel comfortable every step of the way and provided lots of pictures and updates. I couldn’t recommend her enough. Can’t wait to book again.
I was skeptical when I saw so may 5-star reviews for Shelly when I was looking for a pet sitter. I met her and was confortable but you never know. LOL. Now that she has been a sitter for my 2 schnauzers and 2 cats I have to say I would give her 10 stars if possible. Really! And here is why She had a wonderful relationship with my "babies". And I saw that she walked them often. Saw some less that wonderful habits they have sometimes have disappeared. Did she do some training? I don't know. Their food was organized, the meds, everything just perfect. Everything "setup" for my takeover for the rest of the day after she left. This may not belong in a review about petsitting but here it is anyhow. My house was neater than I left it. So I highly recommend Shelly, no doubt.

Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine easily. I'm retired and have lots of time on my hands. I love visiting, walking, and careing for animals. Especially since losing my best friend earlier this year.
