Pet care experience
I have own dogs my entire love and understand them as well as different breed very well. I am active and enjoy being outside with pets. My experience ranges from handling Chihuahuas to Boxers and Pitbulls. I am attentive and even offer basic grooming such as bathing, blow drying, and brushing. If I am able to make this a full-time job, I will be available all week and weekends and am willing to work holidays for those families with relatives not too keen on animals. Your dog is my dog means I will love and care for your dog every minute of the day. I am willing to schedule and drive to scheduled grooming or other servicing appointments as well. Early is on time always.

Shelley is awesome and took great care of our dog, Merlot. She was always super easy to get ahold of and when our flight got delayed she was understanding. Before taking care of our dog she arranged for a meet up and our dog was excited to see her after recognizing her from before. She also took 5 photos through out our dogs visit which put our mind at ease.
Shelley was amazing with our new puppy Max. Will be 100% rebooking and would recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter.

I like to consider dog sitting as an opportunity for your dogs to experience their own vacation. Don't worry! I'll always inquire about any and all boundaries; but if I am welcoming a pet into my home, then they are free to roam where they please and make themselves comfortable on my furniture. With permission, I try to take the dogs out as much as I can whether that's additional walks or heading to the neighborhood dog park. My main priority is making sure your pets are having a good time and not too focused on your absence.

I like to know how dogs behave with other dogs so I can prepare for that especially with having two of my own. I like to keep more quiet shy dogs in one room (with me most of the time) while I let the younger more high energy pups play in another room or in the yard. It is also important to know how your dog is on leash and their normal walking habits - whether they use the restroom right away or need a good long walk to get the bowels moving. I try to be accommodating to the special quirks of each individual pet.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentality and physically. Usually, I'm given their favorite treat and I will use that to do basic training. I have a public dog park not far from the house so I'll pack some snacks, water, and toys to burn out as much energy as I can.
