Hello there, my name is Shelley and thank you for your interest. Please read my entire profile to see if our home will be a good fit for your pet. I run a doggy hotel and daycare from my home full time and so all my attention and time is given to the dogs staying here. My husband Derek and I live in a newly renovated duplex with a fully fenced yard in a cozy neighborhood in Whittier. You can rest easy trusting me with your fur baby as I will take care of your dog as if they are one of my own. I am home FULL TIME so I am able to spend the entire day with your dog and give it the attention and love that every dog deserves. For double the fun, my husband Derek is around in the evenings and weekends to help me care for your little one! Between the two of us, there is always someone home. Our house is dog-proofed and we have a fully fenced yard. We also have cameras in our home and in the backyard for extra monitoring.

Shelley was AMAZING with our puppy, Bear! It was our first time ever leaving him for more than a couple of days so we were a bit worried leaving him with a stranger for a little more than a week, but Shelley went above and beyond our expectations every single day. She runs a doggy daycare so there were always a couple of dogs there to play with Bear and keep him company. We received tons of pictures and videos daily of him playing with all his new buddies and napping in any and every spot throughout their house. It was so cute! We honestly felt bad picking him up and taking him away from all his new BFFs. Shelley is super quick to respond, friendly and accommodating. She really helped us feel so at ease throughout our vacation. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to find a trustworthy pet lover to watch your pups!!
Every single time Doug goes with Shelley, he comes back super happy and exhausted, which benefits me! Hahaha He has been coming here for approximately a year, and I really love how Shelley comes me informed about Doug and sends pictures of him playing with all the cute doggos!!
Another amazing stay! Shelly and her husband are super friendly and accommodating! They are our 1st go to everytime as I know they love our pets like their own

Your dog will have full access to the house in the rare instances that both of us aren't home, and your pup is welcome to do so as long as they are well-mannered and non-destructive when alone. We make sure the house is safe and dog-proofed and turn on DogTV to help keep your dog entertained. We also periodically check in on our camera while we are gone. ***Overnight bookings are for 24 hour periods from the time they are dropped off. Any pickup after the allotted pickup time will be charged a daycare fee for the last day of the stay.*** If you are interested in booking a stay with us, or have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time!

。Does your dog get along with other dogs? YOU MUST BE OKAY WITH YOUR DOG STAYING WITH OTHER DOGS OF ALL BREEDS AND SIZES. Your dog MUST be sociable and have experience being around other dogs as we board dogs from multiple families and of all breeds and sizes. Safety for all the dogs is the number one priority for us, and so we do not accept any aggressive or problem dogs. 。IS YOUR DOG UP TO DATE ON THEIR VACCINATIONS? Due to different dogs from different families staying with us, it is of utmost importance that your dog has all the required vaccines. 。General disposition of your dog, are they hyper and active or mellow and calm? 。Does your dog have any allergies or dietary restrictions? 。Is your dog potty trained? 。Where does your dog sleep at night (with you in bed, in a different room)? 。Can your dog be left alone for a few hours? 。How is your dog on a standard walk; how do they react to other dogs, squirrels, and humans that we may encounter?
A typical day
I want your pet to feel like they are right at home. Your dog will have full access to our pet-friendly and clean home with plenty of supervised playtime in the backyard. Your dog will also get to enjoy the company of other friendly and playful dogs who are staying here. The dogs are never left unsupervised while playing inside or outside in the backyard.
