Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for animals for all of my adult life, and most of my younger life as well. I worked in the veterinary industry for 14 years and enjoy caring for pets and get to know them and their personalities, quirks, etc. As a retired veterinary professional, I am very comfortable caring for your senior or special needs pet. If your pet requires medication or fluid administration, I would be happy to do that as well (additional rates may apply). I also love exotics and have experience specifically with birds, ferrets, and fish. I would be happy to discuss taking care of them or other exotic pets as well; Unfortunately, Rover doesn't have a way to add this option with their current sitter profiles.

Shelly is the ultimate pet care provider. She literally saved my cat when he had a seizure and I cannot thank her enough. She's not intimidated by health scares and is a superhero as far as I'm concerned.
Einstein stayed with Shelley for a few days in October 2016. Shelley is what can only be described as a true animal lover. Einstein got along with their lovable pooch Vito and they seem to have become good friends. Eins had fun looking out the window (he's a city dog, so he might not be used to seeing 'nature', and 'birds', and things like that), gnawing on toys and generally having a fun time with Shelley and company. I received daily pictures of my boy with some videos and updates as well, making me feel safe Einstein was in the best care possible. He came home a very, very happy pup and can't wait to stay with Shelley (and Vito) again! <3
