Your dog will love to come stay with us! Our loving and non-judgmental home provides consistency, routine, love and affection to all who enter. Although I work during the week, I take extra care to exercise and play with my dog before and after I come home from work, in order to keep him healthy and sharp. If your pet chooses to stay over the weekend, expect that they will get the upmost attention and join us in fun activities, as I have no other obligations. I have been taking care of animals my whole life and it brings me great joy to nurture any animal. If your baby needs special attention (meds, isolation, etc), I am trained and flexible. I am a huge believer in positive reinforcement and classical conditioning and will never discipline your pet. I will take care to be consistent with your at-home routines and commands to relieve any anxiety your pet may have from being separated. I look forward to meeting you and your special friend!

Shelise was beyond amazing- I felt comfortable from the very first meet and greet. My dogs feel instantly in love with her! She sent updates and photos while we were away- which made my dog mom anxiety go away! We will def. be using her for all our future vacations!
Shelise always took wonderful care of my black lab, Tod, when I lived in Hawaii and visited the mainland. I had a small yard, but Shelise took him on walks to the local dog park and/or to the beach daily without me even asking! She might not have a big house or big yard, but with such an active lifestyle your pets will be happy happy happy to have her as their daytime best friend. I keep my dog on a consistent routine everyday. We walk twice a day, love hiking and swimming on the weekends. Our fenced in backyard provides extra play time. Cuddles throughout the day are a must! All homes are treated as if they were my own: clean, safe and chill.

I have no preferences. I just like to know their temperament, recall and whether they have any allergies. If allowed, I will gather as much information as possible on their care routine, in order to keep things as normal as possible for them. If your dog has separation anxiety, I check for that as well.
A typical day
We will enjoy walks around the neighborhood, hikes and swims. We are careful to watch for snakes and coyotes and do not take other dogs to places we have never been. We will go to dog parks and dog beaches to run, fetch, chase, jump in the water, and sniff everything. We can practice any skills the dog may have, paired with treats and affection. If they like to snuggle, we can netflix and chill, just as long as they have gotten their potty breaks and exercise!

Availability
Pet care easily fits into my schedule! I wake up to walk the dog and feed before leaving for work. Water is always available! When I get home, it’s cuddles, another walk or some fun play in the backyard. I’ve always had a dog so it’s second nature at this point! I work 4-6 hours a day.
