Pet care experience
I love and treat every dog I've taken care of as if they are my own. Every dog is special and different and I try to really understand what each dog needs. Over the past few years, I've become the go-to person to watch my friends' dogs. I've walked and dog-sat for a variety of dogs, from pit bulls, to goldens and everything in between. All dogs are perfect and all dogs deserve love. I have two dogs of my own, Tucker-a rescue from Austin Animal Center, and Lily-a stray that I found in the creek near my house. She was wandering around with no leash or collar and I knew I couldn't leave her there. Her owner didn't want her, so we decided to keep her! I am currently taking my dogs right now to Sit Means Sit dog training, so I’m learning a lot of really great tips and tricks that I’m happy to share with you and teach your dog! I love dogs with all my heart and my dream is to one day open a dog rescue for senior dogs so they can live out their golden years in a loving and safe environment.

Shelby is a fantastic dog sitter. It's evident that she has a special connection with dogs—my dog son, Beau, wriggles out of his skin in excitement whenever he sees her. She spends hours playing with him, taking him for walks, and giving him lots of love and attention. I never worry when Shelby is watching him. She always goes above and beyond to ensure he's happy and comfortable while I'm away, and I could tell he's well taken care of. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter for their pup.

If not-no problem!- we'll play on the floor. I want to become a friend to you and your dog, so your dog feels completely comfortable and excited to go for a walk with me or for me to stay with them while you're away. I also LOVE pupdates!! Be prepared for lots and lots of updates and pictures of your dog. I know how hard it can be to leave your dog so I want you to feel comfortable knowing that they are being very well taken care of!

A typical day
There is no such thing as a typical day because all dogs are different and it depends on their mood! Some days, your dog might want to go for a sniff walk. Other days, your dog might want to go for a run. I want to accommodate what your dog is wanting at that moment!

I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I understand that things pop up, so if you need me in a pinch I can most likely accommodate! I truly will treat your dog as if they are my own, so if they need me, I will be there for them.
