Pet care experience
I grew up with many dogs, both big and small, so I feel comfortable caring for any breed. I have experience caring for puppies as well; I helped raised my sister's puppy since she was 8 weeks old. I have babysat multiple dogs at once, and dogs who have special needs. I enjoy walking and playing with dogs or just chilling on the couch with your dog if that’s more their speed. My schedule is flexible and I have my own car. I'll show your dog lots of love and care for them like they’re my own fur baby.

Shelby is fantastic! Very personable and easy going. We felt at ease the minute we met her, and our dogs took to her right away. We have one dog that is self sufficient and one that needs a lot of care, and when we returned home they both were happy and content! We will definitely book Shelby again!
Shelby was great. I needed someone to watch Weeze last minute, and she got right back to me and was completely comfortable with Weeze and did a fantastic job. Will use her again for my future trips that I cant take Weeze along for.

Shelby stayed out our house to take care of our high-energy 6 year old pointer and did an excellent job. First, Shelby was available at the last minute for a multi-week stay and then immensely helpful in being prompt with replying to our request and showing up for a meet+greet. We left our pup and home in good hands with Shelby. She provided regular updates to us while we were out of town. She was responsive to asks that we sent while away. When we arrived home, it was just as we had left it and, most importantly, our dog Penny was extraordinarily happy and tuckered out. We hope that Shelby will continue to be available and can sit our dog again. We highly recommend her to all other dog owners.

At my home I have a fenced in back yard, and I would not leave them unattended outside in the yard. I would make sure they are comfortable in a new environment. I’ll make sure they always have enough water and food, and I never leave dogs unsupervised with a chew toy or bone. I am a responsible dog walker and feel confident with any dog on a leash.

A typical day
I really enjoy going on walks with dogs or playing with them outside. I frequently go to Rock Springs Park or Forest Park in St Louis. If your dog is staying at my house, I have a big back yard with plenty of sticks to play fetch with. I also love to snuggle up with dogs while I’m watching a move if they are comfortable with me.

Availability
I am a graduate student, so I go to school full time. I have breaks during my schedule when I would be able to do drop in visits in the morning, midday, and evening. I could also do house sitting in the evenings. My weekends are wide open.
