Travis and I have had many dogs throughout our childhoods and have had a variety of experiences with them. From taking care of newborn litters, all the way to caring for senior dogs living out their last days. We both have experience with providing medicine, caring for wounds, assisting dogs who are not as mobile, training/watching puppies, among many other things. We both have experienced losing a dog, so we know and understand how important our furry friends are. They truly do become a family member. That is why we would love your dog as our own if you decide to choose us! We are both very active and enjoy spending time outside and would love to take doggies with us. We can go on many walks and get lots of play time! We currently do not have a dog of our own, as we are still recovering from losing our 14 year old husky in March, but we are definitely missing having a furry friend in the house and would love to bring back that special joy. Shelby and Travis are lovely people and our dogs loved staying with them! They kept them busy on walks and at the park, will definitely use them again in the future.
Shelby and Travis went beyond expectations in lovingly caring for our Chihuahua mix, Zoey, during our 3 day trip. Zoey tends to sometimes be Leary of strangers and to have some separation anxiety. She seemed comfortable as soon as I took her over and was so calm and happy when we picked her up. We will be leaving her with them again.
They did amazing with maiden. Me being away from her for awhile for the first time and I felt nothing but relief during that time. They sent me pictures and a video of her and told me was very sweet and easy going. I will def use them again for boarding or just a day so they can get their dog fix in! I def recommend and trust them. My maiden girl had so much fun there and was happy.

We do not currently have other pets. We have a small yard, but no fence. We do have a tie out chain if your dog enjoys that. We have plenty of room for crates.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that we should account for beforehand. We are not able to watch pitbull mixes at this time, as they are not allowed in our neighborhood.
A typical day
We have a lovely neighborhood with many paths to take so your dog can get out all the energy and smell all of the smells. We also enjoy going to the nearby lake to explore and get out in the sunshine. We also have a nice yard with a tie out chain if your dog prefers to stay home, but still likes to be outside.

Shelby & Travis can watch in your home
Availability
Shelby works from home on Monday's and Friday's and is available all day to keep an eye on your pup. Tuesday-Thursday she is available before and after work. Travis is available all day, every day, after 11 AM to love on your dog. We are both available on weekends.
