I grew up with three dogs and a host of other animals- goats, horses, chickens, cows, pigeons... I grew up on a hobby farm so I love animals. When I was growing up I used to have to walk the dogs, take them out to the bathroom, wash them and cut their nails. I also potty trained two of my dogs (and taught them a bunch of other tricks). I don't currently have a dog (just 2 sweet cats, Jiji and Maho). I miss having furry friends though so I started a Rover profile to get some time with other people's sweet doggies and show them some love while their people are gone! I just love giving doggies love and comfort and I'm so excited to start doing it periodically. I'm different than other dog sitters because I love all dogs. Any dog is a great dog! I will treat your doggy just like a friend, and like they are my own pet. I have yet to meet a dog who does not believe I am their friend! When sitting for you dog I'm comfortable maintaining training regimens, going for walks or to the dog park, or just hanging out in the house or yard. I love playing catch and trying to teach dogs some new tricks if they are so inclined. I'm great with schedules so if your pup needs food at specific times or needs to take medication, I will make sure everything that needs to happen happens on time! As a nurse my schedule does have up to 10 hour shifts away so if that's not good for your doggo let's definitely talk about it! Sometimes I have 3 or 4 days off in a row so let's see what we can work out. Much of my free time is spent studying so I would love to just hang out on the couch with your pooch and teach them some medical lingo!
