Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs and wanted to work with them since I was young. I started off dogsitting and dogwalking for neighbors and friends, and ended up becoming a kennel assistant as my first job! I then moved on to being a professional dog groomer. I combine love for dogs with proper knowledge of them. From administering medicine to properly handing emergency situations, I have real-life experience with several different aspects of animal care. And this isn't just a job to me. I treat every dog that comes to my home as my own! All of the strange noises, smells, and general confinement that comes with traditional kennels can be so overwhelming and stressing to a dog. You can have peace of mind knowing your dog is staying at a home away from home while he/she is with me! Additionally, if you would like your dog groomed while boarding with me just let me know! I do require that dogs have been recently bathed upon arrival.

I take my clients on walks along with my own personal dog, and do not let them around strange dogs while they are staying with me. I do not typically crate dogs when I am home supervising them, but I do have an extra crate that can be used if needed to accommodate your dog’s routine or give them a safe space.

I only accept fully potty trained dogs! I am no longer accepting puppies (under a year old) as new clients. I do not accept dogs that cannot be boarded with other dogs. If a dog is dropped off before noon, and picked up at a time after noon, it is an additional $10 fee. Your dog must be recently bathed upon drop off, or I can provide bathing for a small fee.
A typical day
My apartment community is a very peaceful and dog-friendly area, and a nice size for taking enjoyable walks. It also includes a small dog park located right next to my building! In the house I allow dogs to be comfortable and roam freely, making sure to give them lots of attention and encourage them to play whenever they seem bored.
