Pet care experience
I’ve been in repeat-client mode for the last 3 years, and I’m excited to be accepting new clients for select services for the next few months. —- Dogs are the most pure thing we have in this world. The way their face just lights up when you open the door (even after just going to check the mail), can turn even the worst day good. Growing up, I was the go-to petsitter for friends and family members with experience ranging from daily drop-ins to weeks of in-home sitting. I've grown up around dogs since I was born, but never had a dog of my own that I was solely responsible for until 2014 when I rescued a tail-less misfit with dreadlocks named Molly and never looked back. Please note: I only offer house-sitting for cats as an add-on for stays with dogs as my dog is not cat compatible.

Shelby has babysat for us twice and has been an absolute pleasure to get to know. Our dog has been going through heartworm treatment so has a few complications and health needs, but we have felt so comfortable and at ease leaving him with Shelby. She clearly understands dogs well and has been super thoughtful around his needs and how to best take care of him. She’s always on time and has been really great when we got stuck in Dallas traffic. Cannot recommend highly enough!
We have used Shelby for many trips over the past 4-5 years and I literally have 0 complaints. She's responsive to booking requests, flexible when travel plans change, and gives great check in notes and pictures. And I always come back home to happy healthy pups.

No breed preferences, what matters most to me is whether our babies get along with one another. A stay away from home shouldn't mean your furbaby should need to adjust to a different schedule or way of life. Whatever your furbaby enjoys at home, I will make every effort to replicate at my home.
A typical day
Molly and I typically go on 1-2 walks per day. Molly has a box full of toys that she's willing to share with her new friends (so long as they don't destroy Ellie the Elephant). My apartment is equipped with multiple lounge spaces, so no matter your pup's preference they'll feel right at home.

Availability
have a mostly flexible work schedule (most weeks working from home 2-3 full days per week), and I work very close to home, so when your furbaby stays with me they'll get all the attention, cuddles, and play you'd like them to have.
