Hello! My name is Shelby and I am currently have finished my first year of veterinary school! I am out of the country from mid august to mid May for school but am home for the summer and would love to take care of your fur babies….big and small! I enjoy taking my own dog on walks, even hikes at times- when she is able to. I have 10 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic setting and even more than that when it comes to housesitting for clients. A large portion of my previous job was caring for boarding animals and in that time I have experience giving diabetic animals injections as well as giving medication that help with a wide range of illnesses or diseases. My overall goal is to make your pet the most comfortable possible even if I have to go through other obstacles to do that. After all dogs are a man's best friend!!! I do work 10 hour days generally when I am at work and generally don’t have time to check on animals over my lunch period. But I do ensure that I am home for the most part when I am watching your babies.

Shelby is the best! She was so caring and attentive towards our four dogs and our Ragdoll, Mojo. We loved the daily updates and the photos. Everything was in perfect order when we arrived back home a week later. Shelby brought our mail in, brought packages into our home from the porch, and even vacuumed! Shelby was absolutely wonderful. She sent me pictures and gave me updates of my dogs. She is a very kind, warm person. She actually did the laundry of bedroom and bathroom where she stayed and cleaned up the house before I got home. I would only use Shelby in the future.

This is our first time working with Shelby and she WAS AWESOME! We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. She was so kind and attentive. She sent us daily pictures. She has a passion for animals and you can feel it. We will definitely use her services again and we HIGHLY recommend her. She even checked our mail, took our garbage in/out, and vacuumed up for us! Generally I like taking dogs around the neighborhood on walks. If the owner is comfortable with it and assuming I have ample time I would like to take you fur babies hiking.
