Hello, my name is Shelby! I am a LVMT (Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician) with experience in emergency, intensive care, and specialty medicine. From a very young age I knew that my life's purpose was to work with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have had pets all of my life and feel they are as much of a member of the family as their human companions. I am always excited to meet new furry (or scaley, feathery, shelled) friends! I would be honored to be entrusted to care for your animal companions and promise to provide the utmost care for them.

I typically care for pets in their homes, as it seems to cause a bit less stress on them. I am still learning the Killeen area, as we are new here, but would love to share walks with your pets in the neighborhood as we take in all the sights (and smells for them).

It is very important to know a dog's temperament and any situations they may not do well with. Also, knowing that I will be able to gain the animal's trust in order to make the most out of our time together is very important. I do ask for emergency contact information and your veterinary contact information should an emergency situation happen.
A typical day
I do my best to provide proper enrichment in all senses for the pets I spend time with. That may look like playing an exciting game of fetch, going for a long relaxing walk through the neighborhood to take in all of the wonderful scents, or even just some cuddle time while you are away.
