Pet care experience
Dogs have a special place in my heart. For the past seven years I've been walking and sitting dogs in Texas and albeit challenging as it can be I have loved every minute of it. I try especially to get all the energy out of those rambunctious few by running or playing with them. I am also attentive to those who need extra patience or guidance. I find myself very attuned to a dogs specific needs when on a walk, boarding them in my home or sitting them in the owners house. I am always consistent with getting outside for walks, no matter the weather. I’m always looking to meet new ones and do the best I can to care for them.

Shelby was available to watch our dog Molly on short notice, and was also willing to accommodate a meet and greet beforehand to ensure a good fit. She was very nice and did her best to keep our anxious dog as comfortable as possible. Molly loved the trail walks, too! Shelby sent photos and updates each day, which we love! Looking forward to booking with her again soon!
I was gone for a week on vacation and Shelby was incredible with my dog. She sent me multiple pictures every day, took her on long walks, and I felt like she was very well taken care of. Will definitely be using Shelby again to watch my pup!
Shelby was so great with our Poppy, we would highly recommend! Communication was consistent and fast, our baby girl was taken care of very well.
Shelby was such a great sitter and made sure to check in with pictures every day! My little dachshund is 12 and needs a little extra attention and Shelby gave her plenty. I’ll definitely use her again in the future!

Safety and comfort are really big for me. I typically don’t let the dogs I sit meet other dogs on walks as a precaution. I’m very sensitive the the dog’s comfort as well. For example I had a husky that got extremely anxious when I left so I would play ocean sounds or npr so she wasn’t distracted or anxious by random sounds and felt like someone was there with her.

A typical day
Living a nice neighborhood with sidewalks and a field that's we could run around. Another one of my favorite places is the trails near the bay or other parks around town.

Availability
Currently I have a full time in office job that requires me to be away during the day. After hours I am happy to get some exercise in with your dog or give them adequate company. I’ve been doing this for years now and feel confident in my ability to consistently provide care for your dog.
