Hi I am Shelby and I have a Chihuahua named Dexter. I just moved to Downtown Gainesville to finish my Bachelors degree at UF. I am from Connecticut and had my own dog walking business there for the last 3 years, and before that I've cared for friends and families animals regularly. I have many references which I am happy to provide and am comfortable with all breeds and temperments! Animals are my passion and I have experience caring for everything from dogs to tarantulas. I used rover somewhat while living in Connecticut but mostly had my own customers which I have provided many photos of (you can tell I enjoy sending photos to the families you're away). I have cared for all kinds of pets, disabled, energetic, rescues, post-op, you name it. It is my goal to make your pet feel comfortable while being away from you while giving the best care possible! Exactly how I would want someone to treat Dexter!

I just got home from the airport ten minutes ago but can’t wait to review Shelby!! She stayed with our pit bull-lab mix for 9 days overnight at our house while we were traveling overseas and I could not have asked for a more communicative, diligent, caring sitter! She sent photos everyday and let us know every detail of how he was doing and how each day went. She also watered our Christmas tree, took in mail and kept the house in amazing condition. She truly goes above and beyond and it was such a relief to know that our pup had such great care and company!
Great Amazing experience with Shelby!! My dog Maddie loved her and she will be used for future dog walks going forward. She is very personable and extremely friendly which is what I loved about her. Shelby came to house sit for my many animals of all sorts while I was away on vacation. She did a wonderful job taking care of all my fur babies, always responded quickly when I checked in or asked questions about how it was going. The house was kept clean and animals were all healthy and happy!
I have used Shelby several times she is ontime, reliable and very responsible she will care for your dog as of it was hers. I have 2 very large dogs and she handles both of them without a problem. My Pitbull is very nervous and afraid when first meeting people she is so patient with Kaya they are best buddies now. I would highly Recommend Shelby for any of your dog sitting/walking needs

A typical day
While boarding your pup I will take them for a nice long walk each day and spend lots of time with them. I am here to adjust to your preferences and whatever your pet needs as they are all different. There is a local park down the street I take the dogs too and of course tons of belly rubs will be had.
