Pet care experience
In our current climate our pets have gotten more attached to us, leaving them can be hard! that's where I come in - As a kennel attendant at multiple doggie daycares over the years, I just couldn't imagine leaving my pet at a kennel. It's not the same as being in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by things that keep them cozy. I pride myself on my responsibility and dedication; our pets should be treated with the respect and dignity as our fellow people. I'm no stranger to pets with special needs and diets, able to administer medication if needed (oral and injection) and have dealt with pets recovering from surgery to needing to go the ER vet because a bee was on the dessert menu. I can accommodate anything as long as you let me know beforehand! I look forward to having you join my pack!

Shelby went above and beyond to care for our dogs! She showed them tremendous love while staying at our house and did everything in her power to make sure they were comfortable. In our experience, not every person on Rover has shown this level of care and it does not go unnoticed. Would definitely book her again!
Shelby was wonderful! She was communicative, punctual and incredibly caring with my pups! I got lots of photo updates and when I arrived home, both my dogs were happy and relaxed!
Shelby was awesome and our pups loved her visit! She communicates daily and sends pictures of the animals which is very appreciative. Shelby left our home just as we left it. She made it a very smooth and comfortable experience which was really nice since it was our first time booking with her. We already booked another dog/house sit with her!
Shelby is seriously the best person to trust your pet with. I go out of town all of the time - but this time- I found out my sweet boy was slowing passing from cushings disease. I was so scared to trust someone with my baby. My dog recently has become incontinent with his pee. He has to go outside almost every hour and wear diapers. Shelby was the most needed and best person ever to take care of my guy. She stayed with him - watched him- loved him- walked him. She sent constant and important updates. I was absolutely shocked by how well Shelby befriended my boy. If I had a million dollars I would give it all to her for supporting my little man while I was gone. Shelby goes ABOVE AND BEYOND in watching and protecting her pets. I wish I could thank you more Shelby-but seriously thank you so much!!!!!!

I'd like to know if your pet has any dietary concerns, allergies, or just anything personality wise you'd like me to know! To ensure we don't get off on the wrong foot I require a meet and greet before-hand not only so you can know my face and we can become acquainted, but so can your pet and I! Anything you think is important is important to me, so don't be afraid to write a list of questions, concerns, etc. before I arrive. An overprepared pet parent is my favorite.
A typical day
Local park or designated walk area (set by the owner), plenty of outdoor time depending on the weather -- lots of kongs with peanut butter (if allowed) and belly rubs. Feel free to ask if you'd like me to check the mail, water any plants, or rotate the lights while I'm there!

I'm available for meet and greets Monday through Friday! Pet care is my full time job so my schedule is based on you and your pets needs :-) During the sitting my schedule is adjusted to the sitting/stay/etc.
