Pet care experience
I am currently not accepting new clients due to my schedule at work. Please contact me if you are a previous client and I would love to try to make something work for you and your pets! I am an experienced veterinary assistant who has been working with animals for the past 8 years. I hold a Fear Free certification and strive to make all animals experiences positive and rewarding. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my spaniel puppy and two cats. I love all animals big and small and I’m comfortable medicating, caring for and walking all ages/species. I live in the Bothell area and enjoy all the nearby park. I’m sure your dog would love enjoying them with me!

Shelby was great! She was very proactive with communicating both before and throughout her stay with our dogs, which is something we have found lacking in past sitters. When we came home our dogs were happy and relaxed, a sure sign of lots of attention and care paid to them. Additionally our house was exactly as we left it, which was great!

Shelby walked our black lab puppy all week and was great! She was reliable and did a great job with him, especially considering he’s a puppy and this week was a new routine for him. Her feedback and communication on how the walks went put us at ease, and made us feel our pup was in good hands!

I strive to put people and their pets first. I always book meet and greets either at a park, public area or at your home so we can be better acquainted and make sure to address any and all of their concerns. Are there any things I should stay away from? Is the pet good with other animals? Am I OK to take them in the car, to the park, or on a walk? I have no breed preferences and will care for any as long as they are not aggressive.
A typical day
I like to take dogs in their own familiar territory first while we get acquainted. After this, the Burke Gilman trail is a favorite in my area as well as downtown Woodinville and various other nature parks in the area. I love hiking in my free time. I usually hike on the weekends two or three times a month. All of the hikes I pick are dog friendly and I would love to take the dogs in my care with me if owners give me permission. I also love doing photography and would love to photograph pets for their parents if they would like!
