Hi, I'm Shelby!! I am an ICU nurse at UW and a huge dog/pet lover. I have 25+ years experience with all different sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments of animals. Growing up around cats, dogs, birds, horses, and hamsters, I’ve had plenty of exposure and experience caring for all types of pets. I love petting, walking, and even running with animals to give them both the affection and exercise they need. Ive walked/sat animals all over the country while i was a travel nurse so Im very familiar with the process. I have a large fenced in yard and live near many big parks. In addition, I am willing to do pick-ups and drop-offs and administer any type of medication your pet may need (perks of being a nurse). I would love to be able to spend my free time caring for your pets while you’re away. I work three 12 hour shifts with 4 days off each week. Although my schedule may vary week to week, having 4 free days allows me a lot of flexibility with my free time. Just like I care for patients as if they were my family, I care for pets as if they were my own! I think like humans, every animal has unique experiences that molded them into the pet they are. With those experiences each pet has different needs and should be cared for with love and patience.
