Pet care experience
I have had different breeds of dogs and cats my whole life and have cared for others’ pets. I have rescued and adopted pets myself! I can handle all dogs, big or small! I love giving dogs all the attention and walking/playing with them to get their energy out! I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pets and I will put your mind at ease by being communicative and sending lots of pictures while you are away! I prefer to meet you pets prior to me sitting just to ensure we are a good fit for each other and I can meet you and understanding any expectations!

Shelby was very responsive to calls and texts, and kept me updated on my pups. She had to unexpectedly take one to the vet the very first day and did so without any issues, and very graciously. I'd gladly have her watch my dogs again!

Shelby is awesome!! She took great care of my boys and my place while we were out of town. She made them comfortable enough to go out separately and to sit for a picture (no easy feats with my boys!) we will definitely being calling her again!!
Shelby is an amazing sitter. She dog sat my 10 year old Australian Shepard while I was away for the weekend. Shelby answered my texts quickly and sent me many pictures of my pup. She also took him on many walks! I will definitely be using Shelby in the future and referring my friends to her.

I would like to know about their routine and any concerns. If your pet has any medical concerns or issues with other dogs that may arise when walking. I would like to know what type of communication you prefer from me (i.e, daily pictures and updates, only when you ask, etc).
A typical day
I don’t have any pets here at school myself so I am able to provide undivided attention to your pets! I live in a house with roommates so I am not boarding at the moment but I am willing to travel to your home and stay there with your pets to accommodate them in their usual space.

Availability
I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology; however, I have time to care for your pets around my class schedule. Upon service requests I will confirm the time frames I may be away for class just to ensure your pet will not be alone for too long according to their routine! I have class 3x/week!
