Pet care experience
I grew up in a household with 5 extremely spoiled shih tzu's and 1 very patient cat. I moved to Portland 2 years ago and my own forever friend, Remus a 4 year old mini aussie mix, joined me. I have ample amount of experience with elderly dogs, as all of our family shih tzu's are now 13+ years of age, including experience administrating medicine. I have a flexible schedule and can cater to high-energy dogs by taking them on runs or jogs, which I do for my own energetic buddy. I'm a geologist working on my graduate degree and would love to take a break from thesis writing to get outside! I'm responsible, trustworthy and caring. I can provide a list of references as well to attest to my attentiveness to animals and I would love to meet your pooch!

Shelby is a wonderful sitter. She was amazing with our dogs and kitty. One of our dogs is highly anxious and we were shocked at how comfortable and happy she was in Shelby's care. Shelby stayed for several days with our pets, leaving the house in perfect shape! She was in touch daily with picture and updates. We will be using Shelby again and highly recommend her!

Shelby is a very responsible, dependable dog lover! She has had a special way with animals all her life; they just know who to go to first. She has a way with dogs that they just pick up on and always want to be around her. She takes walking & caring for dogs very seriously. She is very protective of them and they will have fun on their walks with her. I would highly recommend Shelby to walk your dogs and take care your dogs; they will love you for it!!
Shelby was so great with walking my pup, Gus. Not only did she walk him, they also played ball too which is Gus' favorite thing to do. I highly, highly recommend Shelby as a dog walker/sitter, she's amazing!
