Pet care experience
I am an animal lover! I grew up on a ranch and as such, am familiar with most livestock animals as well as having owned pets nearly my entire life. While I am most familiar with dogs and cats, I do have some experience with reptiles, fish and even turtles! I am reliable, caring, and compassionate with animals of all shapes and sizes! I have been house/dog sitting for about 7 years now with several regular clients. I am available during the week and weekends. I am available to work any length of stay you may need. I have no problem with administering medications or handling specialty feedings. I work 8-5 Monday through Friday but am able to take breaks in order to check on your pets.

Shelby was great! Responded to text messages and requests promptly. Gave updates of our dog’s status with pictures and messages. Our home was also well cared for! Appreciated her kindness and willingness! Definitely would have her back!
We had a great experience with Shelby! She took excellent care of my pets while we were away. She communicated really well with me and provided daily updates with each drop in visit. My dog can be really shy and suspicious of strangers, but he was comfortable with Shelby almost immediately- which means a lot! I will absolutely contact Shelby again the next time we need a sitter.
Shelby is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with all animals. She volunteers to watch her friends pets if they need the help and gives them the same love and care.

A typical day
I love going on walks, hikes in the beautiful mountains or adventuring to one of the great dog parks Sheridan has to offer! Fetch and tug are two of my favorite games to play!

Availability
I work full-time but in a relaxed environment that allows me the flexibility to check on pets. I have a partner in the home who is home during the day and also has a Rover profile.
