Hello! My name is Shelby, to start off with my animal handling experience, When I was around 2012 I started volunteering at a local cat rescue. I Volunteered here every Saturday for an hour cleaning litter, feeding cats, doing laundry, and playing with cats. I volunteered here for 4 years and then started volunteering at the Humane Society for South West Washington as a teen volunteer. Here I walked dogs but mostly worked with cats, cleaning their cages, socializing with cats, and help to get cats adopted. I volunteered here for around a year. Then I started working part-time at a Vet clinic in Portland. Here as an Animal care assistant and I work cleaning up the clinic and holding cats and dogs for examinations. I worked there for a year and a half. Now I work at a different vet full time as a receptionist.
