Hello! I'm Shelby, a life-long dog and cat owner living in Oceanside. I genuinely enjoy the company of dogs and have lots of attention to give your pet. I live in a house with a fenced yard.The neighborhood is also very dog-friendly and there is a dog park just a few blocks away. I'm a good fit for: - Dogs who need significant daily exercise. I am regular runner and can take your dog for runs up to 5-6 miles. - Couch potatoes and cuddlers. - Dogs who are friendly towards other dogs. I live near a dog park and I would love to take your pet there for playtime! I might not be a good fit for: - Dogs who are aggressive towards other dogs. My neighborhood is very dog-friendly and there are many pets on walks at any given time. This is for your dog's safety and the safety of other pets. - Persistent barkers. - Dogs with separation anxiety or potty issues. During the week, I work full-time outside of the apartment, so this is something to consider. However, if you are looking for a weekend-only sitter, I can accommodate on a case-by-case basis.

Shelby was great with our older, somewhat quirky dog. Often when I pick him up from a sit he runs to me like a bat out of hell, but on pickup this time he seemed perfectly content to stay with Shelby.
Shelby did a great job watching Bella.

There is a dog park nearby, so if your pet gets along well with other pups, we can visit the dog park. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Your dog can sleep at the foot of the bed, or in the living room.

I have a small dog who I take on multiple walks a day. I generally like to take him on longer walks and adventures on weekends. Your pup would be invited as well!
