Pet care experience
I recently lost my heart, Clovis, who was a Great Dane. So I am very familiar with large breeds. I have 1 dog of my own a cocker spaniel mix, named Minnie. So I understand how to take care of extra large breeds all the way to smaller breeds. Minnie loves to play and has plenty of energy to entertain your dog upon stay. I truly love taking care of dogs and the truth is; I stay in their house and not the other way around. I do have a large fenced in yard with a dog door, so they can come and go. This will be locked and secured while I'm away. During the week I do work, so the dog will need to be okay with being by themselves up to 4 hours at a time. However with COVID I primarily work from home. So if I have to go into the office, it would only be a few days out of the week.

Shelby is as dog obsessed as anyone I’ve ever met. Having gotten to know her and her two rescues, she has become a cherished friend over the years. When ever she is around my dogs she spends her time and attention as much on them as she does on the rest of us. She is definitely one of the few ‘dog whisperers’. Very patient, loving and responsible. I would trust Shelby hole heartedly to take care of my rescues any day.

The dog will be staying with me and my furbaby so it will need to be able to get along with others. If needed I can separate in different rooms if I have to leave for some reason. During the week, if I have to go into work they will need to be OK being by themselves for 4 hours at a time.
A typical day
Between my dog and yours they will entertain each other. Especailly in my big fenced backyard that they can run around in. Otherwise, I have plenty of toys that I use to engage with them. Also, will take for walks if they are good on a leash.

I primarily work from home so I would be here the majority of the time. When I am home. The dog door is open so they can come and go has they please. Otherwise my dog free feeds and I have a water dispenser so they can drink whenever they want.
