Pet care experience
Growing up, my family has an abundance of dogs and other species, so I am very educated in how to care for pets. I am experienced in care of all levels and am able to administer medication if needed. As I am a teacher, I am at the school on weekdays from 6:30 to 4 (I am available anytime around that). I am caring, driven, and passionate. At home, I have two cats which is why I am not available to board at my home. However, I will be able to do home visits, drop-ins, and walk (or run if that’s what your pet prefers). Shelby is reliable and our dogs enjoy keeping their schedule. She has helped us several times when we needed and extra hand.
She'll do the absolute least work possible. Don't believe what she wrote in her profile bio, she is not an animal lover and she was too busy to stay more than 6 minutes in the morning and 6 mins in the evenings with my dogs when hired her for a house sitting.
Shelby was very sweet and professional. My dogs and cat loved her and were well taken care of the week we had her booked. I highly recommend Shelby to anyone looking for someone reliable to take care of their fur babies!

It is important to know how a dog will react ahead of time as I arrive on my own. I’d like to know if your pet runs out the door when it is first opened or if it has ever bitten someone.
A typical day
I enjoy long walks outdoors! I also love to play fetch with the doggos or throw cat toys for the cats. Some pets like to just be lazy so I also enjoy just keeping them company!

I am available any time around my work schedule. I am usually completely free on weekends also. My cats at home are low-maintenance so I have a lot of free time to do house sits or drop ins.
