Hey Mom or Dad! 👋 My name is Shelby and I am so excited to care for your pets. I moved to Phoenix 6 years ago with my fiancè and currently reside in North Phoenix. We've got 3 pups, twin girls, named Leela and Neena, and our newest addition, Tilly! Our pups are Staffordshire Bull Terriers and they're as sweet as can be. 🙂 My rates are on par with what you'll pay for boarding your pets, but with me, they'll have less stress and more personalized, one on one care. My partner and I both work remotely so we're both home all day most days. Having animals around is all I've ever known. Growing up, we always had rescue dogs and cats and it shaped me to be the passionate animal lover that I am today. I've volunteered at shelters for years and even worked at a Humane Society using my marketing degree to help advocate for fostering and adoption of homeless animals. We currently foster pups for an amazing rescue here in town (the pet knot) so that's a lot of fun and very rewarding as well! It can be scary and difficult to leave your pets with someone you barely know while you're away for work or for fun. I hate leaving my girls because you don't trust anyone with your pet more than yourself, but you can trust me to care for them as my own when they are in my care (my pups are very loved and spoiled and yours will be too!). I want you to know that I am confident in administering medication, special diets, or other unique needs should your pet require that. My first dog that we lost a few years ago had a form of canine cancer and gave me a ton of experience in caring for pets with special needs. I am also extremely comfortable taking care of households with multiple pets. My goal is to create long term relationships with my clients and their pets so that when you need a sitter, you can count on me and feel good knowing your pets are well taken care of. When I'm in your home, I'm there most of the day and will spend the night. 😊 I will keep your pets on their regular schedule as much as possible and don't worry, you'll get a ton of photos. 📸 When I stay in your home, I will take amazing care of your pets, but also your house. I can water plants, check the mail, etc. I will also clean all used linens before the end of my stay because the last thing you should have to do when you get home from vacation or any other trip is someone else's laundry! I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s). I typically require a meet and greet prior to any stay so that your pets have the best time while in my care. Message me with any questions.
