I'm a teacher, so I'm available by 3. I love exploring the parks and neighborhoods in Seattle, and happy to walk, jog and swim alongside your 4 legged friend! I grew up with golden retrievers, spaniels and horses, so being around animals is the norm for me and something I miss since moving to Seattle. We have a therapy dog that occasionally visits our school and that has motivated me to reconnect with animals. I love all dogs and don't have a specific breed or type of dog I prefer. I understand pet owners are looking for someone to provide responsible and loving care, which is something I can offer. I prefer to provide dog-sitting in your home and with summer coming up I will have lots of extra time to spend with your pet!

Shelby was great! I needed help last minute and she was available. I came home to washed sheets and towels, a vase of tulips, a handwritten note and dinner ready to go for the pup. I really appreciate the little things Shelby paid attention to and for keeping my pup company!
Shelby is clearly a "dog person" who loves animals. My 11 year old rescue dog is a bit of an acquired taste with a lot of quirky habits and strong preferences, but she didn't bat an eye. We were so relieved to be able to enjoy our vacation without feeling guilty. I think the dog may have had a better time than we did!
Shelby has watched our goldens since they were puppies. She walks them and spends time playing with them. She spends plenty of cuddle time with them. Shelby keeps to their feeding and exercise schedule. She consciencious about cleaning up after them. We often have her house sit as well. She is quite responsible in the care of our home. We have never been disappointed when we used Shelby as our pet/house sitter.
