Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Shelby, and I am a native Chicagoan based in Morningside Heights, Manhattan. I have had dogs my whole life but I'm sadly not allowed to have one in my apartment. That's where you and your pups come in! I raised my family's puppy in Chicago from 2 months to a full year, so I have grown to love taking dogs to parks, to the beach, and for long walks through the city. I miss spending time with my own dog, but I'm excited to make some new furry friends. I am happy to take care of several dogs at once and welcome cats as well (I have two back in Chicago). I will take excellent care of your pets and promise to provide as many text updates and photos as you like. I know that it's tough to be away from your pet, especially during long absences, but you can rest assured that they'll be well looked after by me. I look forward to speaking with you!

Shelby is caring, competent, and extremely responsible. In my experience as her friend and co-worker, she constantly demonstrates extreme patience and diligence. She goes out of her way to take care of others, and would make an excellent caregiver for any lucky pup.
Shelby is one of the most responsible and kind people I've known. She has cared for our dog for the past year and the mere mention of Shelby's name, our dog gets very excited and her tail starts wagging like crazy. Shelby is very loving and gentle and I can't think of anyone I'd rather trust with my dog!
Shelby is the most loving girl to our little Lucy. She absolutely loves our dog and takes her on long walks and gives her lots of hugs and kisses. Our dog practically jumps in her arms every time she walks in the house. Very trustworthy and very responsible. I would also recommend her for dog sitting as well. Fabulous young lady...and very educated I've recently learned :)

A typical day
So many walks! My favorite way around New York is by foot, so long walks are a guarantee. I enjoy visiting dog parks as well (as long as your dog does too!) and playing fetch.
