Pet care experience
I’ve owned a cat my whole life and one day a beautiful dog named Jesse came into my life and I was hooked on dogs. I currently own no pets since Jesse passed but I babysit all my friends dogs very often and enjoy having them to love and to adventure with. I hope to foster fail and fall in love with one again one day. I love exercise and outdoor adventures and live in a big house with a fenced yard and walking distance to beautiful hiking trails. I work full-time during the week but have flexible lunch breaks and spend most nights at home. Would love to curl up on the couch with your pets!!

Shelbie has watched our dog, Gus twice now and both times he has come home spoiled and happy! She treats him like her own, and sends updates and pictures during his stay. We highly recommend Shelbie and will definitely be using her again :)

Do not trust this person with your pets!!! We booked Shelbie to watch our two dogs while we were away for two days and she never showed up! My poor dogs were left for 16hours without being left out. NO communication at all from her. Only way I found out is I checked my security cameras. I was 4 hours from home and had to frantically start calling friends to get someone to let them out. They had peed and pooed in the house because they were left for so long. When she finally got back to me it’s was noon and her excuse for not showing up was that she slept in!! I would never trust her with any of my animals. If I hadn’t checked my cameras, who knows how long she would have left my dogs for. Super irresponsible and unreliable! Book with someone else! Doesn’t even deserve a one star.

Lots of cuddles! I also don’t mind them sleeping in my bed and we don’t mind them on the furniture. Can follow any rules or exceptions you have. We have a dog in our house now her name is Ivy and would love a buddy to play with from time to time but can also seperate dogs if needed as we have a large home.

I mostly ask the same questions. Potty trained? How long can they be left alone if I am at work but can come home to let them out on lunch. How is their recall? Are they good off leash and how are they with other dogs.
A typical day
It all depends on the dog. I like walks and bikes on or off leash. I also live down the street from a school with a big field. I have a nice yard for fetch too.

Availability
I work full time but I come home on my lunch breaks to check on any dogs I may have at the time, let them out to pee and take them on walks!
