We picked Shelbi because of previous reviews and her close location to our house. We also had two paid meet and greets prior to the schedule visits to make sure she and our dog Asia were comfortable with each other. At the meet and greets Asia was slightly anxious but calmed after a few minutes. So we were all confident things would go well. On May 19th, the day of the first visitation, Shelbi called us claiming Asia lunged at her and bit her and that she would not be going back. I have never witnessed this behavior from Asia and unfortunately my doggy camera malfunctioned. So there was no way to validate her accusations. Shelbi told us she contact Rover and Rover would be finding another sitter as she (Shelbi) was not going back. Rover never contacted us by phone (Rover did send an email but no phone call and we were in a remote area with wifi. I contacted Rover requesting a refund of our money since Shelbi did not complete the work contracted nor did she find a suitable replacement. Rover responded that Shelbi must authorize the refund. I sent Shelbi a text message and left her a phone message and she did not respond. We are currently reviewing our legal options.

Shelbi did a great job taking care of our dear pets. She always sent pictures and told me what they were up to. I'm very happy with her service and I plan on using her again!
