I am a Fear Free Certified®️ Veterinary Technician that's been in the industry for 20 years, both in general practice and emergency medicine. I’ve also always had pets, so I've been taking care of dogs, cats, pocket pets, and even reptiles/amphibians for nearly my entire life! I've raised and trained puppies, cared for senior pets with special needs, and everything in between. I truly love animals and would be honored to care for your pet while you're away!

We had the best experience with Sheera! I was so nervous to leave my reactive, high-need pup with someone new but Sheera quickly put my mind at ease after our meet-and-greet. She is so responsive, communicative, and has extensive experience with a variety of dogs given her professional background as a vet tech. She checked in regularly and even sent a cute photo recap at the end of every day. She quickly earned the trust of my pup and I could tell he had a great time in her care. I am so grateful we found her!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sheera! She watched our rescue dog who is terrified of thunderstorms for a weekend where it stormed pretty much the whole time. She was patient, communicative, and so respectful of our home. I don’t trust many people with our dog, but Sheera is absolutely one of them.
Sheera is so fabulous with our dogs. We have one that has a lot on anxiety and fear and Sheera is amazing with her! Highly recommend hiring Sheera to care for your pups!

In addition to medications and other special needs, I'd love to know your pet's personality! Please be sure to let me know if they have any particular likes/dislikes or fears/phobias. For example, my dog was afraid of bikes and scooters, which was helpful for sitters to know when they took him for walks around the block.
A typical day
I try to cater my play dates with your pet based on what they enjoy, so be sure to let me know their favorite toys, games, and activity level. If your dog has a preferred walk route, please let me know that, too!

Availability
I am very fortunate to be able to work mostly remotely for my job, so my schedule is flexible! I can work from your home during the day and be available for frequent potty breaks, meals, medications, etc. This is especially beneficial for puppies and senior pets, since they tend to require more frequent care. It's also great if your pet tends to have separation anxiety, since I can be there for most or all of the day.
