Hello! I'm a senior at Washington University in St. Louis, where I am studying International Affairs and Leadership. I was born and raised in Marin County and went to school at Tamalpais High School. As a child, I had always wanted a dog, so I convinced my parents to let me get a dog through Guide Dogs for the Blind. Through this program, I had to attend weekly training sessions for a year before I could get a dog, where we learned everything from training to grooming. When I was in 6th grade, we got Zia. We trained her until she was 16 months old and were lucky enough to get her back again as a breeder, where she had puppies for the program. To this day, we still take care of her, even though she is no longer working for Guide Dogs. In high school, I also began to dog walk and dog sit, working with multiple families. I really enjoyed it, and it was a great way to spend time with some amazing dogs! With the shift to online learning in March, I began to walk and sit dogs again and loved it. I am now back in Marin until mid-January and would love to take care of your pet!
